Pablo Bobbio M.F.A / M.S / Ph.D.

Born in Argentina his formal education included a Doctor in Behavioral Science (Ph.D.), with a minor in Art

Counseling from the USA; Master of Science of Psychology (MA) from Brazil, and a Master’s in fine arts

(MFA), with a minor in Social Psychology, from Argentina.

Pablo is member of the International Freelance Photographers Organization and an active member of

the Professional Photographers of America. He is also a writer collaborator for Arte al Día International. And has being offering lectures and seminars on art and psychology in prestigious educative institutions such as

Rice University, New York University, The Center of Wellbeing and Creativity (Kiental, Swizerland), the

Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera (Milano, Italy). He has presented thirty-two artist solo shows in

Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Yugoslavia, U.S.A., Uruguay, Spain, Finland, Mexico, Canada, Chile, Cuba, and Italy.

In Houston, he has present his work at local art galleries like Sicardi Gallery, New Gallery and Commerce Street.

Some of his most successful shows had been “WAR 30 Photos – 30 Writers” with the participation of 109 writers and poets from 37 countries, inspired by Pablo’s photomontages; the project: “20 In – 20 Out” with the exonerates of the dead row in the USA; and “Trouble Minds”, portraits of psychotic patients taken in Brazil during the year of 2015. He has also participated in more than 400 collective shows around the World. His latest works include “Portraits of India: Varanasi”, “Maya” and “Haiku”. His next show will be “Inhabitants of Pain” at Vermeer Gallery, in Buenos Aires, Argentina,next month. Pablo Bobbio resides in Houston and continues his private practice and his work in Visual Arts (painting and photography) and Psychoanalysis.
